Maruti Suzuki has launched its popular car S-Presso with a CNG engine. The company introduced this car at the Auto Expo 2020. The price of CNG S-Presso is much higher than the initial model of petrol variants.
The 1.0-liter petrol engine has been given in the S-Presso that comes with CNG. This engine will generate 68hp power and 90Nm torque. According to the company, the S-Presso will give a mileage of up to 32.2 km/kg in CNG.
Maruti Suzuki has launched four variants of the S-Presso with LXI, LXi (O), VXi and VXi (O) along with CNG kit. If you talk about the price, the initial price of CNG S-Presso in Delhi is Rs 4.84 lakhs, while the price of the top variant is Rs 5.13 lakhs.
The CNG S-Presso costs a lot more than the petrol engine. The initial price of the petrol engine S-Presso is Rs. 3,70,500. At the same time, the price of LXi variants of Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is Rs 4.09 lakhs. There has been no change in the design and features of the car.
Maruti has given more than 10 safety features in this mini SUV. ABS with EBD, driver-side airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders, and speed alert systems are all given invariants. Dual front airbags are available in the top variants. At the same time, other airbags will be available as an option in other variants.
The front look of the Maruti S-Presso is quite bold. It has a high bonnet line, chrome grille, and large halogen headlamps. The LED DRLs are under the headlight. The front and rear bumpers are quite heavy, which gives it a different look. Its ground clearance is also fine.
Significantly, now Maruti Suzuki has a special focus on CNG cars. In the financial year 2019-20, the company sold 1,06,443 factory-fitted CNG vehicles. The company has a large range of CNG vehicles. Currently, the company offers vehicles like Alto, WagonR, Eeco, Tour S, Ertiga.
